Monster Island, The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster which was released ironically at the same moment as Godzilla King of the Monsters is about an Island called Monster Island. A monster may be found there; the monster is, in other words, the island.


This is a film (link here) about asylums. It has a budget that's comparable to a big kid's dinner. It uses this budget lightly, focusing only on the human characters and filming in one place during lunch. The Asylum may not be a bad film though, as it is a kaiju movie.
